Position: Part Time (15 - 20 Hours Per Week) Personal & Administrative Assistant
Reporting Relationship: This position will report to two people: the COO / CFO and the President of HVS Asset Management – Newport and HVS Hotel Management which are divisions of HVS.
Location: The division is headquartered in Tiverton, RI

As a team member, your ultimate responsibility is to help the COO / CFO and President of these divisions of HVS to be efficient and productive by assisting them with administrative and personal tasks in order to save them time.
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Monitoring and ordering all office supplies
  • Input and reconciling personal bills in Quicken
  • Processing paperwork, filing and scanning
  • Picking up and sorting mail
  • Making bank deposits (no cash)
  • Occasional drop offs and pickups at airport and train station (mileage reimbursed)
  • Personal errands
  • Other appropriate projects and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in office setting
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • No fear of computers and general ability to use the inteernet for searches / shopping
  • Basic understandiing of Microsoft Word & Excel is desirable
  • Experience with Quicken is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Well-organized and assertive
  • Extremely proficient with appropriate technologies and financial applications and systems
  • Passing credit and criminal background checks and being properly documented to work in the U. S. (documents are verified) 
  • Availability and dependability in meeting a 15 to 20 hours a week flexible work schedule

COMPENSATION: The compensation is $15 - $16 an hour paid twice a month (All approved out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed)
