Under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, this Associate will be responsible for maintaining client relationships along with end-to-end management of search assignment while adhering to standard operating procedures.
Quality and Customer Focus

  • Act as a point of contact for all search related queries by client.
  • Handle new business inquiries under supervision of the Assignment Manager.
  • Deal with client queries after submitting candidates.
  • Promote HVS and other services when in contact with the client.

Execution of Search Assignment

  • Gain understanding of client’s organization and specifics of the position to be filled.
  • Create Search Strategy and define timelines.
  • Gain understanding and thorough knowledge of competitors based on specific search assignment.
  • Prepare candidate profiles accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Able to understand the different forms of recruitment. Demonstrates good knowledge of the executive search industry trends and ethics.
  • Execute the following in due course of the assignment:
    • Preliminary Teams video contact and document all conversations
    • Conduct Teams video meetings with shortlisted candidates
    • Present finalist candidates in form of Candidate Summary, HVS Assessment and a follow-up behavioral interview
    • Obtain a CV from candidate
    • Communicate progress to clients and shortlisted candidates
    • Assist Client and Candidate during salary negotiations
    • Conduct detailed and independent reference checks.

Contribution to Internal Processes

  • Strengthen internal database (SPIDER).
  • Adding/updating candidate resumes in SPIDER.
  • Contribute ideas to strengthen/streamline existing processes.


  • Collaborate with team members towards execution and closure of search assignment while adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Build rapport and trust amongst colleagues.
  • Nurture a spirit of teamwork.
  • Understand the importance of resolving major search assignment issues with the assignment manager. Bring issues to the assignment manager’s attention.
  • Strategic understanding of other disciplines; understand his/her role and function in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Anticipate problems and bring them to the attention of the search Assignment Manager and suggest solutions.
  • Can be depended on by the team to meet deadlines and goals (both internal and external).

  • Write proposals with a manager’s oversight.

The Associate will report to the Court Williams, Chief Executive Officer, HVS Executive Search and work closely with Assignment Managers.

 Total compensation and incentives will be commensurate with experience and will include a draw salary and commissions (paid monthly), health insurance, 401k plan, paid holidays, three (3) weeks PTO.
