The Research Associate for the Middle East & Africa Executive Search team is responsible for supporting the Executive Search research and administrative functions. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Project Support:
Enter opportunities into the database and prepare all proposal drafts. 
Review, edit, and format all project documents to include: 
  • BD Presentations 
  • Proposals 
  • Opportunity Profiles 
  • Company Research List 
  • Candidate Summaries 
  • Candidate Reports 

 Liaison with candidates to coordinate phone interviews. 
Schedule ‘prep’ calls for candidates with consultants. 
Maintain database projects from initial opportunities completion and ensure all documents are attached in the proper format. 
Business Development Support:

Create Industry and Company Analysis reports.
Identify leads for business development through extensive research.

Knowledge Management / Database Management:

Create mapping document specific to industry/client data through market research/cold calling while adhering to set timelines.
Undertake research projects and assist in business development activities.

Act as a point of contact for all search-related queries by clients or candidates.
Handle new business inquiries under the supervision of the Assignment Manager.
Execution of Search Assignment:
Prepare candidate profiles accurately and in a timely manner.
Able to understand the different forms of recruitment.
Demonstrate good knowledge of the executive search industry trends and ethics.

Contribution to Internal Processes:
Strengthen the internal database (SPIDER).
Adding/updating candidate resumes in SPIDER.
Contribute ideas to strengthen/streamline existing processes.
Collaborate with team members towards execution and closure of search assignments while adhering to standard operating procedures.
Understand the importance of resolving major search assignment issues with the assignment manager.

Work effectively on multiple concurrent tasks in multiple disciplines.
Ability to learn new businesses, tools, techniques, and/or technologies rapidly; accelerate learning by leveraging previous experiences or the expertise of others.
Reporting Relationship:
The Research Associate will report to the VP, HVS Executive Search Middle East, and Africa, and work closely with Assignment Managers.
Professional Qualifications:
The chosen candidate should have 1-3 years of similar experience. A fresher could be considered as well. The ideal candidate should have a graduate degree in hospitality, psychology, liberal arts, or similar. MBA qualification would be preferred. The desired candidate must possess excellent communication and time management skills. Strong work ethics and attention to detail are equally important.
