I joined HVS over 5 years ago, and have seen my career grow exponentially in that time. HVS has given me the resources and support needed for me to expand my skillset, expertise, and industry network. As part of the leading hospitality consulting firm in the world, doors have been opened to me here that wouldn’t be possible at other firms. I’m so grateful for the team here at HVS, which is really more like a family, and am proud to continue growing my career in the organization.

In spite of the size and global reach of the firm, I feel like a respected individual within HVS. HVS recognizes that different points of view create a stronger and more creative work environment, and I feel that my voice is heard within the organization. I appreciate that, even as a newer associate, I am given the space to make a positive impact in my role, and that I have been given many opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

I joined HVS right out of school and the experience has exceeded even my wildest expectations. Beginning at the Associate level to now being the lead in one of the strongest hotel markets in the country, the opportunities for growth within the firm are unmatched. The leadership team cultivates a culture of inclusivity, balance, and transparency to a degree I have yet to see at another firm. Everyone is family here, willing to lend a hand when needed, and nobody is too senior to reach out to.

In HVS, you can expect to have a fun, dynamic, challenging, and fruitful workday. As an intern, you will be given opportunities to work on the same projects our consultants are working on. As a full time associate, the wide variety of inspiring projects I have worked on have trained-up my analytic mind to think critically about the hospitality industry. The colleagues I have met are very supportive and you can expect to learn and grow fast in a reassuring environment.

The thing I like most about HVS is that I have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and assignments across geographic locations. The colleagues I have met have diverse backgrounds and are educated from renown education institutions around the world. I have enjoyed the exposure to a variety of hospitality projects across Asia Pacific and look forward to a fruitful career in valuation and consulting. I have benefitted from learning from the foremost leaders in the industry in both my region and throughout other regions in the U.S. because of how the firm collectively works together as a unit and not by individual offices.
