Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be trained and responsible for the preparation of hotel valuations, feasibility studies, business plans and appraisal reports for hotel and resort properties. The preparation of reports includes:
• Fieldwork
o Travel;
o Property inspections;
o Area interviews;


 Analysis
o Review of property's financial statements and other relevant documents;
o Use of Microsoft Excel models and in-house databases;


• Report Writing
o Use of Microsoft Word;
o Includes developing graphics/maps and formatting;
o Requires strong writing skills


The position requires extensive travelling mainly within the Middle East countries.

Requirements
• Bachelors degree with a major in real estate or a related discipline;
• Professional qualification like RICS or equivalent and experience of hotel valuation;
• MBA would be desirable;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
• Solid analytical skills;
• Strong English and language skills, both written and spoken. A high proficiency of written and spoken business level Arabic is desirable;
• Self motivated/self-starter;
• Work environment is deadline oriented and high-energy;
• Must have an ability to travel regularly for projects.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a degree, preferably in real estate or a related discipline, and a postgraduate RICS qualification or equivalent, with prior experience of conducting hotel valuations.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate superior analytical skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and strong English writing abilities. Business level spoken and written Arabic is also a strong advantage.
